Joy Fold Thank You Card

I just love Fun Fold Card and had come across a tutorial posted by Vickie Lou Designs. I decided to try my hand at it, and came up with an amazing Thank You card!

Here is the color palette used for this card

I used Misty Moonlight for the card base and Bumblebee for the inner card base. I used the Flowers for Every Season DSP and the Bloom and Grow stamps/Budding Blooms dies for the image. I used my watercolor pencils and Water Painters to color the stamped images and then die cut them and layered them to the front tab.

I stamped my sentiments in Misty Moonlight and added a few flower clusters in Bumblebee after stamping off.

Plaid Tidings Thank You Card

Today, I got the opportunity to create with some of the new goodies from the August – December Mini Catalog. I made a simple A2 Thank You card for a customer and I love it!

Here is the color palette used for this card

I used Cherry Cobbler Cardstock and the coordinating Plaid Tidings DSP. I used retired white grosgrain ribbon to separate them. I cut the tag for my sentiment with the Celebration Labels Dies and the sentiment is from Peaceful Moments.

On the inside of the card and on the envelope, I stamped a flourish and sentiment from the new Celebration Tidings stamps.

Another Z-Fold Card, this time using Painted Poppies

I loved making the Z-Fold Card for the challenge at The Dimensionals yesterday so much that I had to try another, this time using the Painted Poppies Bundle. Again, I am over the moon with the results and I can’t believe that I have never done this before!

Here is the color palette used

All of the materials (except the embossing folder) used can be found on my website.

Stamps: Painted Poppies, Peaceful Moments

Dies: Poppy Moments, Hippo & Friends

Cardstock: Basic Black, Whisper White, Poppy Parade, Gorgeous Grape, Granny Apple Green

Ink: Memento -Tuxedo Black, Poppy Parade, Gorgeous Grape

Misc.: Embossing Folder (Non SU), Daubers, Adhesives

I was not fortunate enough to get the DSP that came in the suite before it retired, so I made my own using the stamps in the bundle and I am happy with how it turned out, especially because I have white space to write a message.

Once again, I used a dauber on the die cut flower pieces with the matching ink in order to add a little depth.

Whale Done!

Today, I had a ton of fun playing with the Whale of A Time Suite, which was just released in the new catalog on July 1st.

I made two A2 cards that are virtually the same, one a congratulations card, and one a thank you card, by just changing the sentiment. I cased these cards from my dear friend, Sue @creativedesignsbysue, a Stampim Up demonstrator in Australia.

For these cards, I used the following supplies:

Stamps: Whale Done

Dies: Layering Circles, Tasteful Labels

Cardstock: Very Vanilla, Night of Navy

Ink: Night of Navy

Misc: Seabed Embossing Folder, Night of Navy Twine
